The Virgin Islands Port Authority is seeking bids for the construction of a multi-level Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) Building at the Cyril E. King Airport. The project involves demolition of the existing ARFF station and construction of a new one. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, tools, supplies, equipment, and permits necessary for the project. The bid includes a base bid for the demolition and construction of the new ARFF station, as well as a separate bid for furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E). The contractor must comply with all federal, state, and local laws, rules, regulations, and ordinances. • The project requires a mandatory virtual pre-bid meeting on April 9, 2026. • A non-mandatory site walkthrough will take place on April 9, 2026, at 12:00 PM (AST). • The bid deadline is May 8, 2026, at 04:00 PM (AST). • The contractor must provide various documents, including a business license, SAM debarment and certification, and certificate of good standing. • The contractor must also provide payment and performance bonds, as well as liability insurance.
