Description
The Waltham Housing Authority is seeking bids for the ARPA FF: Kitchen Bath Modernization Phase 1 project, which involves the renovation of kitchens and bathrooms at the Hammond Street and Carey Court developments. The project includes the replacement of all kitchens, bathrooms, and fixtures, as well as upgrades to electrical and lighting systems, new floor finishes, and ventilation. The estimated cost of the project is $1,270,000.00.
• The project requires bidders to be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) in the category of General Building Construction.
• Bidders must agree to contract with minority and women business enterprises as certified by the Supplier Diversity Office (SDO).
• The combined participation benchmark reserved for such enterprises shall not be less than 13% of the final contract price including accepted alternates.
• The Workforce Participation benchmark is set at 6.9% for women and 15.3% for minorities.
