Budget estimate

$5,000,000 – $20,000,000

The budget for this project can be estimated based on the scope of work, which includes the retirement of the Wye Yard tracks and the construction of three new tracks. The cost of such a project can range from $5 million to $20 million, depending on the complexity of the work, the materials used, and the labor costs. The project also includes site grading, which will be performed under a separate earthwork contract, and the contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. The project has MBE, WBE, and SDVOB participation goals, which may also impact the budget.
