Vision Therapy Services - As Needed (ReSub)

The Passaic Board of Education is seeking proposals for Vision Therapy Services to be provided on an as-needed basis for students in Passaic public and nonpublic schools. The selected provider will be required to provide vision therapy services, including assessment and treatment, to students who require these services due to medical necessity. The contract will be for a period of one year, from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027. The provider will be paid on an hourly basis, with a fee schedule to be submitted as part of the proposal. The district is looking for a provider who can offer high-quality services at a fair and competitive price. Some key requirements for the provider include: • Having sufficient personnel to meet the initial assignment and the ability to meet the increasing population to be served as students are identified for services • Providing evidence of any innovation and/or successful approach in providing the services requested • Submitting a fee proposal schedule that complements the service being requested • Having all professional staff assigned to conduct services with current and appropriate certificates • Having a current and active criminal background check for all individuals working with students • Providing at least two letters of recommendation from a school, clinic, or hospital administrator/supervisor/director • Having copies of all professional licenses required to perform the services listed in the specifications.
