Description
The Army Contracting Command (ACC) - Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG), Tobyhanna Division is seeking sources to provide a turn-key design, engineering, supply, delivery, installation, assembly, set-up, and training for a crossdraft-style sanding booth in an existing building at the Tobyhanna Army Depot (TYAD), Tobyhanna, PA 18466. The booth will be used for fiberglass repair work and must meet various safety and environmental standards.
Some key features of the booth include:
* A minimum size of 39 feet long by 16 feet wide and 14 feet high inside
* A crossdraft-style design with three-stage filtration plus a fourth stage for VOC filtration
* Explosion proof LED lighting and emergency exit lighting
* A central vacuum system and utility niches
* Breathable air and compressed air connections
* A water-based fire suppression system
* A carbon monoxide monitor
The contractor will be responsible for all site preparation work, delivery, installation, and assembly of the booth, as well as providing training for sanding booth operator personnel and TYAD maintenance personnel.
