Description
This solicitation seeks a qualified general contractor to execute an interior renovation of approximately 2,400 sf office space at 640 Ackerman Rd, creating conference and meeting rooms, and to upgrade HVAC and electrical systems at the adjacent 670 Ackerman Rd (Room B331). The work includes selective demolition, installation of operable partitions, new doors and hardware, gypsum board, acoustic ceiling tiles, resilient flooring, painting, fire‑sprinkler and fire‑alarm modifications, and full coordination of mechanical, electrical, and data systems. The contract requires compliance with Ohio prevailing‑wage rules, the State’s EDGE Business Participation goal (5 % of contract value), the OBWC‑approved Substance Use Prevention and Recovery program, and Executive Orders restricting work to U.S. locations. Bidders must submit a bid security, power of attorney, and, if not attached, provide bidder qualifications and EDGE affidavits within three days of request. The project must be completed within 162 consecutive days from the Notice to Proceed.
