APPLICATION OF CORROSION PREVENTATIVES ON VARIOUS EQUIPMENT

The County of Ocean is seeking a contractor to apply corrosion preventatives on various equipment. The scope of work includes the application of T-32 petroleum-based rust inhibitor, Tough Coat, and Tectyl 2423 HAPS Free Black undercarriage coating. The contractor will be required to perform tasks such as cleaning and drying surfaces, removing loose mill scale and rust, and applying the corrosion preventatives. The contractor must have facilities and expertise in this type of service and must guarantee all workmanship and parts for one year. • The contractor must have a valid driver's license and proper protective equipment. • The contractor must have an AMPP Coating Inspector Program Level 1 certification. • The contractor must have at least 5 years of past performance in applying the specified corrosion preventatives. • The contractor must provide a facility large enough to accommodate various vehicle sizes and larger units. • The contractor must provide pricing for the application of corrosion preventatives per unit, inclusive of all labor, parts, equipment, and travel time.
