Road Oil for 2026 Construction Season

Miami County is seeking a qualified vendor to provide road oil for the 2026 construction season. The County intends to use the asphaltic concrete materials and other services specified within this contract on resurfacing projects, routine road maintenance projects, road construction, in-place asphalt services for various County facilities and any other County approved applications. The contract will be for an approximate 12-month period. Key responsibilities include providing road oil, complying with KDOT Standard Specifications, and meeting the County's requirements. • The contract will be awarded to the bidder who meets the mandatory specifications and requirements and is deemed the best bid, considering price, responsiveness, and responsibility. • The bidder must provide a comprehensive warranty for the equipment and services provided. • The County reserves the right to cancel or terminate the contract if the bidder fails to comply with the terms and conditions. • The bidder must provide insurance coverage, including commercial general liability, workers' compensation, and commercial automobile liability. • The bidder must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and codes, including the Kansas Act Against Discrimination and the Americans with Disabilities Act.
