The Town of Mt. Olive, Mississippi, is seeking separate sealed bids for the construction of MDEQ WPCRLF sanitary sewer improvements. The project is expected to be funded in whole or in part by anticipated funds from the Water Pollution Control Revolving Loan Fund (WPCRLF) loan program from the State of Mississippi. • The bid documents can be downloaded from www.sd-wprojects.com, and electronic bids can be submitted at the same website. • A certified check, cashier’s check, or bid bond written by a company properly licensed in Mississippi must accompany the bid, equal to 5% of the amount of the bid. • The lowest and best proposal received will be accepted, subject to the provisions of Section 31-7-13 of the Mississippi Code of 1972, Annotated and Amended, and other applicable State law. • Minority and women’s business enterprises are solicited to bid on this contract as prime contractors and are encouraged to make inquiries regarding potential subcontracting opportunities and equipment, material, and/or supply needs.
