Shiloh-Mcpherson NE RTL & Widening Project

The City of Laredo is seeking bids for the construction of a right turn lane at the Northeast intersection of Shiloh and McPherson. The project includes the construction of a 3,900 SF of 8" thick reinforced concrete travel lane with asphalt overlay, 2,050 SF of concrete sidewalk, and 350 SF of concrete driveway. The project also requires utility relocation, including water valves, utility poles, traffic poles, and storm drain inlet adjustments. The successful bidder will be required to provide all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to complete the project. • The project has a construction contract time of 60 working days. • The City of Laredo reserves the right to reject any bid that does not comply with the requirements of the solicitation. • The City of Laredo will not reimburse any bidder for costs involved in the preparation and submission of bids. • The project requires the contractor to provide traffic control, conduct utility exploration, and install inlet protection. • The contractor must also provide a contingency allowance of $50,000.00.
