Description
The City of Lawrenceville is seeking competitive sealed bids for the complete rehabilitation of approximately 1,500 linear feet of Ezzard Street (Paper Mill Road to Shoal Creek). The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, and related services to:
• Remove and replace concrete curb and gutter, adjust/ lower curb‑grate inlets.
• Perform full‑width milling to a depth of 3 in. and repair as needed.
• Place and compact 2 in. of Permaflex/OGI asphalt paving, followed by a 1‑in. surface coat of 9.5 mm Superpave with lime.
• Install 5‑in. solid double‑yellow thermoplastic centerline striping and 5‑in. solid white thermoplastic edge line striping.
• Provide traffic control, shoulder grading, sodding, and permanent grassing (tree removal performed by the City).
• Comply with Georgia Department of Transportation specifications, submit a 5 % bid bond, and be prepared to furnish 100 % performance and payment bonds, plus extensive insurance (workers’ comp, commercial general liability, auto liability, umbrella, etc.).
• Complete the work within 45 consecutive calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed.
• Attend an optional pre‑bid conference on September 1, 2026 (highly encouraged).
