The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division is seeking capability statements from companies that can provide a motorized pan‑tilt positioner capable of carrying up to 40 lb, operating in harsh environments, and offering precise position feedback. This is a Sources Sought/RFI, not a solicitation for a contract award, and responses are used for market research and to assess small‑business set‑aside feasibility.
• Payload capacity ≥ 40 lb, weight ≤ 40 lb, IP67 rating, operating down to –10 °C.
• Continuous 360° pan, 0‑90° tilt, speed ≥ 0.1 °/s, position resolution ≤ 0.1 °.
