Storm Drain Trash Management Plan

The City of Chico is seeking bids for the Storm Drain Trash Management Plan project, which involves the removal of existing storm drain pipes and the installation of trash management devices at a single location. The project is funded with local funds and has an engineer's estimate of $450,000.00. The contract time is 50 working days, excluding plant establishment and permanent erosion control establishment work. A non-mandatory prebid outreach meeting is scheduled for March 26, 2026. • The project requires the payment of prevailing wage rates to be paid to members of each craft or classification performing work on this project. • The contractor shall possess either a Class A Contractor License or a combination of classes required by the categories and types of work included in this contract. • The project is subject to state contract nondiscrimination and compliance requirements pursuant to Government Code, Section 12990. • The contractor shall be responsible for compliance with all California Air Resources Board Regulations. • The contractor shall submit Certificates of Fleet Compliance to the City prior to contract execution.
