Description

The School District of Springfield R-12 is seeking competitive responses to their Request for Qualifications for curriculum adoption of social studies elective courses. The district is looking for textbooks with a digital component for the following courses: Geography, Sociology, and Psychology. The selected vendor will be required to provide an itemized pricing sheet, implementation plan, and references. The contract term will be for one year with the option to extend for up to three additional years. • The district is looking for a textbook that also has a digital component. • The district is open to multiple vendors. • The district will not accept a standalone digital resource. • The district will evaluate responses based on price, responsibility of the responder, and any subsequent negotiations. • The district reserves the right to award the contract by either of two options: a one-year contract with the option to extend for up to three additional years, or a four-year contract. • The district reserves the right to consider cooperative contracts during the evaluation process.

Budget estimate

$100,000 – $500,000

The budget for this opportunity is difficult to estimate, as the document does not provide a clear indication of the budget for the project. However, based on the fact that the district is seeking a vendor to provide curriculum adoption for social studies elective courses, it is likely that the budget will be in the range of $100,000 to $500,000. This estimate is based on the assumption that the district will be purchasing textbooks and digital resources for a large number of students.
