PHOENIX SKY HARBOR INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT AIRFIELD LIGHTING VAULTS MODERNIZATION - ENGINEERING SERVICES

The City of Phoenix is seeking a qualified consultant team to provide engineering services for the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport Airfield Lighting Vaults Modernization project. The project involves replacing Constant Current Regulators (CCRs) and associated electrical infrastructure within the three airfield lighting vaults at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. The selected team will provide design services, and potentially construction administration and inspection services. The project aims to modernize aging electrical systems, ensure safe and reliable airport operations, and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements. • The project has an estimated construction cost of $21 million. • The scope of work includes updating electrical systems, emergency power systems, power distribution, branch circuitry, and communication cabling. • The City will select a team based on a qualifications-based selection process, and the selected team will be notified directly by the City. • The project is expected to start in early March 2026, with a scope meeting scheduled for that time.
