WVU Visitor Center Renovation

The West Virginia University is seeking a qualified firm to evaluate, reimagine, and transform the current WVU Visitor Center into a state-of-the-art "Welcome Center" that aligns with contemporary best practices in university recruitment, visitor engagement, and institutional branding. The selected firm will work with WVU from the initial redesign phase through construction completion. The project includes a pre-proposal meeting and a non-mandatory site visit. The proposal should include company and team profile, relevant project experience, project approach and understanding, schedule, and fees. • The firm should have experience in visitor centers, higher education environments, or athletic facilities where brand storytelling guided the design solution. • The firm should provide a lump-sum fee for completion of the programming and conceptual design phase. • The firm should provide a schedule of hourly rates for all team members. • The firm should describe its approach to effective collaboration among the architectural, branding, and construction disciplines.
