The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking a contractor to provide commercial OEM preventive maintenance and repair services for two Government-owned Leica Peloris III tissue processors. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, travel, tools, test equipment, Leica OEM (or Leica-approved) replacement parts, software updates, and technical support necessary to perform full-service maintenance. The contract will be for a base period of one year with four option years. The contractor must have experience in maintaining Leica Peloris III tissue processors and must provide proof of successful completion of training and certification by the manufacturer. • The contractor will provide all necessary parts and labor to maintain the tissue processors. • The contractor will provide telephone technical support and on-site service calls as needed. • The contractor will provide software updates and maintenance at no additional cost to the Government. • The contractor will provide a service report for each service call, including the date of service, summary of problem and action taken, equipment details, labor hours, and parts and other expenses.
