Description
The Washington County Office of Administration is seeking proposals from qualified consultants to develop a 2050 Comprehensive Plan. The plan will guide growth across the county in areas such as land use, transportation, housing, water resources, parks and trails, natural resources, and climate. The selected consultant will work closely with county staff and leadership to develop a comprehensive plan that reflects the county's policy direction for growth through 2050. The plan will include sections on introduction, purpose, vision, guiding principles, background, history, demographics, land use, transportation, housing, water resources, parks and trails, natural systems, climate, and implementation. The consultant will be responsible for developing engagement materials, conducting technical analysis, and creating maps and graphics for the plan.
• The plan will establish clear goals and strategies for the county's growth and development.
