Description
The State Highway Administration is seeking a contractor to provide concrete repair services in District 1, which includes Dorchester, Somerset, Wicomico, and Worcester counties. The scope of work includes the removal and replacement of concrete sidewalks, concrete curb, and combination curb and gutter at various locations. The contractor must have at least 2 years of experience in concrete repair and be registered with the State Department of Assessments and Taxation. The contract will be for an 18-month period with no option periods.
• The contractor must provide their own transportation and equipment.
• The contractor must be able to start all projects within 7 working days after notification from the State Highway Administration.
• The contractor must complete each job within the time specified in the project estimate.
• The contractor must provide all materials unless it is determined to be in the State's best interest to utilize existing State of Maryland commodity contracts.
• The contractor must maintain insurance coverage, including commercial general liability, worker's compensation, and automobile insurance.
