Description
The State of Michigan, Department of Natural Resources, Wildlife Division, is seeking a contractor to enhance deer openings at Big Springs and Garden GEMS in Schoolcraft and Delta counties. The contractor will be responsible for disking, fertilizing, and seeding the openings. The work must be completed between July 15th and September 10th, 2026.
Key aspects of the job include:
• Disking of openings may begin two weeks prior to the planting date
• The contractor must provide a pricing schedule for the proposed contract activities
• The state reserves the right to review and approve any subcontractor or require replacement of unacceptable subcontractors
• The contractor must appoint a contractor representative and a crew supervisor
• The contractor must comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA) and provide accessible digital formats
• The contractor must provide a detailed response to each question in the bidder response box
• The state may modify the RFP at any time and may discontinue the RFP process at any time for any or no reason.
