The Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) is seeking information for the Transmitted Isotropic Generated Equivalent Radiation (TIGER) project. The project aims to continue research and development of signal generation techniques across the radio frequency spectrum, employing high levels of power. The awardee will refine and implement techniques, hardware, and software for atmospheric research and spacecraft and/or aircraft calibration. Key personnel required for the project include a Senior Systems Engineer, Ground Test System Coordinator, Senior Software Engineer, Junior Software Engineer, Hardware Engineer, and Terrestrial Systems Specialist.
• The project requires access to SCI programs and involves working with high-power, large aperture antennas.
• The awardee will research, design, and develop software and hardware combinations for efficient signal generation.
• The project involves calibration of equipment and processes, fiber optics, and laser communication.
• The awardee will perform system requirements definition, system integration and test, and system architecture development.
• The project requires experience in satellite calibration, RF amplifiers, and high-power RF systems.
