Description
The Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified contractors for the purchase and installation of batting cages at Lenora Park. The project includes the installation of six batting cages with specific dimensions and requirements. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all labor and materials required to complete the project.
Key aspects of the project include:
• Installation of two 65’ long x 14’ wide x 12’ tall batting cages between Fields #5 and #6
• Installation of four 65’ long x 14’ wide x 12’ tall batting cages behind the center field fence at Field #1
• Use of NOVA30 netting with sewn rope perimeter and NOVA301.75” SQ netting
• Installation of protective padding and screens
• Surfacing and foundation requirements, including M10 aggregate base and 36 oz. 5mm padded turf
• Compliance with manufacturer installation requirements and applicable codes
• Maintenance of a clean and safe work site
• Coordination with County staff for site access and security
The successful contractor will be required to meet insurance requirements, including commercial general liability, automobile liability, and worker's compensation coverage.
