Description
The Branch Intermediate School District is seeking bids for the BACC Excavation Project. The project involves excavation work for a construction trades house, including stripping topsoil, excavating basement opening, and trenches for garage wall. The contractor will also be responsible for obtaining required MISS DIG utility locates and spreading pea gravel for the radon mitigation system. The bid must include itemized prices for each stage of the project.
• The project requires excavation for a 24’x50’ driveway, 4’x15’ sidewalk from driveway to front door, and a 4’x80’ sidewalk along the road.
• The contractor must also excavate for installation of city water and sewer.
• Rough grade around foundation is to be sloped away from foundation to provide drainage after settling.
• Grade for garage floor and driveway is to be brought up to provide base for concrete after settling.
• Finish grade is to be completed in spring/summer of 2027.
