The City of Blue Earth is seeking bids for the West Industrial Park Expansion, a comprehensive civil‑construction project that includes extensive excavation, water‑main and storm‑sewer installation, road and curb construction, embankment work, and site development. The scope covers: • Excavation of 36,750 CY and channel/pond excavation of 8,700 CY. • Installation of 1,300 LF of 6”‑10” PVC watermain and 1,500 LF of 6”‑8” PVC sanitary sewer, plus 1,000 LF of 12”‑42” RCP storm sewer. • Construction of 73,000 CY common embankment, 4,500 SY concrete street pavement, 2,000 LF concrete curb & gutter, and 1,500 SY bituminous patch. • Installation of 55 LF drainage structures, 1,500 CY aggregate base (Class 5), 38 LF sanitary manholes, and turf establishment over 8 ACRE. • All work must comply with prevailing wage rates, equal‑employment‑opportunity provisions, workforce certification, and responsible‑contractor requirements.
