Description
The Illinois Department of Natural Resources is seeking a contractor to perform reclamation work at the Blackstump Road pits. The scope includes constructing a cast‑in‑place concrete pad integrated into an existing slope with riprap, as well as providing mobilization services. The work must be performed under load‑limit restrictions, maintain temporary roads, and be completed within the contract schedule.
• Construction of a 1–3 ft thick concrete pad (≈ 64 cubic yds) with riprap on existing slope.
• Provide mobilization (lump‑sum) and any necessary equipment (pump, conveyor, chutes).
• Maintain and restore temporary access roads, comply with 80,000 lb vehicle load limit and 12‑ton culvert limit.
• Complete substantial work by 31 Mar 2027; contract ends 31 Aug 2027.
