Aircraft Tire Bead Breaker

The Air Force Sustainment Center (ASFC/PZIOB) at Tinker Air Force Base is seeking a contractor to provide an Aircraft Tire Bead Breaker. The system must be capable of breaking narrow- and wide-body bias and radial tires without causing damage to the wheel halves or rubber. The contractor must provide a full "turn-key" solution, including delivery, installation, and training. The system must meet specific parameters, including wheel/tire capacity, breaking force, and spade adjustment system. The contractor must also provide comprehensive installation, operation, and service manuals. • The system must accommodate wheel diameters from 12 inches to at least 34 inches, tire diameters up to 68 inches, and tire widths up to 26.5 inches. • The system must be capable of delivering a minimum breaking force of 60,000 lbs to safely separate heavy mobility aircraft tires. • The system must feature a one-touch power/automatic adjustment system. • The system must include a remote control, safety stops, and a loading assistance system. • The system must be fully compatible with 220/380/480 VAC, 3-Phase, 50/60 HZ, 7.5 KVA power. • The system must utilize ISO Grade 32 oil and feature a minimum 7.5 HP motor, a pump capable of up to 5 GPM, and an approximate 35-gallon reservoir.
