John P. “Top” Greene African American Cultural Center

The City of Raleigh is seeking bids for the renovation and construction of the John P. “Top” Greene African American Cultural Center. The project includes the renovation of the existing community center, as well as the construction of a new 3,490 SF detached building. The new building and addition will feature a community room, exhibit space, and back-of-house spaces to support the function of the community center. Sitework includes new exterior exhibits, stormwater, and landscape improvements throughout the site. Bidders will be required to show evidence that they are licensed to perform the work in accordance with North Carolina General Statute, Chapter 87. • The project involves renovation and construction of a community center and a new detached building. • The project includes sitework, such as new exterior exhibits, stormwater, and landscape improvements. • Bidders must be licensed to perform the work in accordance with North Carolina General Statute, Chapter 87. • The project requires a bid security in the amount of 5% of the bid. • The city reserves the right to waive any informality or reject any or all bids.
