Description
The State Highway Administration is seeking bids for the cleaning, painting, and minor rehabilitation of an existing bridge in Frederick County, Maryland. The project includes structural steel replacement and retrofits, bearing repairs, steel and fiberglass railing repairs, scupper repairs, drainage trough repairs, and rehabilitation of concrete. The contractor must have SSPC's Painting Contractor Certification Conforming to SSPC-QP1 and QP2.
• The project is funded by the Federal government and has a participation goal for Disadvantaged and/or Minority Business Enterprises.
• The bid documents are available electronically on the Bid Express website.
• Bidders must register with Bid Express and have a paid subscription to submit bids.
• The bid opening date is February 19, 2026.
• The successful bidder will be required to supply Payment and Performance Bonds for contracts in excess of $100,000.00.
