Description

This opportunity solicits repair, overhaul, testing, and inspection services for Navy signal processors (NSN 8555917‑1, Part Number 1680‑017006580). The contractor must adhere to strict quality and configuration management standards, provide a 180‑day repair turnaround time (RTAT), and manage all materials, tooling, and documentation in accordance with MIL‑STD‑130, ISO‑9001/AS‑9100, and other applicable regulations. The work includes establishing a repair quality plan, handling non‑conforming material, and complying with reporting and inspection requirements. • Repair, upgrade, and testing of signal processors to Ready‑For‑Issue (RFI) condition. • Required RTAT of 180 days; throughput constraints and induction expiration (365 days) apply. • Comprehensive quality assurance, configuration management, and documentation obligations (ISO‑9001/AS‑9100, Mil‑I‑45208A, Mil‑Q‑9858). • Contractor must supply all parts/materials unless specifically government‑furnished; must use SAE‑AS22759 wire instead of MIL‑W‑81381. • Compliance with Navy procurement clauses (e.g., BOA N00383‑25‑G‑NV01) and reporting via the Commercial Asset Visibility (CAV) system.

Budget estimate

$5,000,000 – $15,000,000

The solicitation does not disclose a contract value. Based on typical Navy repair contracts for high‑value electronic assemblies, a multi‑year effort covering hundreds of signal processors could range from a few million dollars up to low‑double‑digit millions. Assuming 200‑300 units at $25,000‑$50,000 each for repair, testing, and logistics, the total award might fall between $5 million and $15 million.
