6009-PAWP- Acid Flushing Containment Floor Reconditioning

The City of Columbus, Public Utilities Department is seeking a contractor to provide services to recondition the acid flushing chemical containment floor and coating at the Parsons Avenue Water Plant (PAWP) located at 5600 Parsons Avenue, Lockbourne, Ohio 43137. The scope of work includes cleaning and prepping the floor area, patching and sealing floor defects, applying a prime coating, and applying a 'vail' coating to the entire floor area. The contractor must provide all necessary materials and equipment, and ensure that all dust is collected and process equipment is not affected. The service shall be invoiced in one lump sum, and the successful bidder must provide a copy of the company's current State of Ohio BWC insurance certificate, contractor licenses, and General Liability Insurance. • Clean and prep floor area, per coating MFG recommendation • Ensure that all dust is collected and process equipment is not affected • Prep bases, remove anchors, patch and seal floor defects • Provide 'greenstone polymer systems' 332 CR mortar, 2 patch kits • Provide 'greenstone polymer systems' 100 CR epoxy coating, 6 gallon kits • Patch repair floor defects & apply prime coating to floor area, under bases, & turn-up wall & edges • Apply 'vail' coating to entire floor area, per MFG recommendations
