Next Generation Jammer Low Band (NGJ-LB) Engineering, Maintenance, and Development (EMD) Phase II Increment I

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to issue a sole source contract modification to L3Harris Technologies to continue development of the Next Generation Jammer Low Band (NGJ-LB) system. The contract will include delivery of System Demonstration Test Article (SDTA) pods, development and implementation of additional cybersecurity and system security requirements, product support and logistics support for Operational Prototypes Pods (OPP) and SDTAs, and software verification of correction of deficiencies. • The NGJ-LB system is being developed to reach full capability as defined in the Capability Development Document. • The contract will be procured in accordance with the statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition. • L3Harris Technologies is the sole designer, developer, manufacturer, and integrator of the NGJ-LB, and is the only source that possesses the necessary engineering data, technical skills, and knowledge to perform the development efforts.
