Description
The County is seeking qualified contractors to perform pedestrian‑improvement work along Old Norcross Road (SR 120/Duluth Highway) and Venture Drive, covering roughly 0.84 miles. The scope includes earthwork, curb & gutter installation, sidewalk construction, concrete flat work, concrete walls/structures, asphalt paving, drainage piping, signing, and striping. Quantities are detailed, and bidders must submit sealed bids with a 5 % bid bond and be able to furnish 100 % performance and payment bonds meeting an A‑8 rating. Plans are available for purchase at $50 per set.
• Earthwork: 1,500 CY clearing & grubbing, grading
• Concrete flat work: 3,464 SY and concrete structures: 40 CY
• Curb & gutter: 1,654 LF; Storm‑drain pipe: 342 LF; Asphalt: 50 TN
