Design Services for a New Municipal Services Operations Center

The City of Independence is seeking design services for a new Municipal Services Operations Center. The selected firm will provide architectural, civil, structural, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) engineering and other necessary consultants. The scope of services includes combining multiple operations divisions into one location. The city anticipates using the Construction Manager at Risk delivery method for this project. • The city is looking for a firm with experience in similar projects and a strong understanding of the project requirements. • The firm should have the capacity, availability, and capability to perform the work within the time limitations fixed for the completion of the project. • The firm should have a team with the necessary qualifications and experience to perform the proposed services. • The firm should have a good record of performance with respect to cost control, quality of work, and ability to meet schedules. • The firm should have a clear communication strategy for internal design team, with Owner and their agents, and other project team members.
