City of Caro Planning and Zoning Consulting Services

The City of Caro is seeking a consultant to provide professional planning, zoning, project design, and grant assistance services for a three-year term. The selected consultant will assist the City with day-to-day planning administration, zoning review, design concept development, grant preparation, and strategic planning related to growth management, redevelopment, and community design. The scope of services includes current planning and zoning administration, long-range planning, project design services, grant assistance and funding support, and special projects. The City anticipates entering into a retainer-based agreement with supplemental hourly billing for services beyond the agreed scope. • The consultant will provide professional planning, zoning, project design, and grant assistance services. • The consultant will assist the City with day-to-day planning administration, zoning review, design concept development, grant preparation, and strategic planning. • The consultant will provide design review and site layout assistance to ensure proposed developments are consistent with the City's design standards, streetscape character, and Master Plan goals. • The consultant will identify, research, and track potential grant opportunities related to planning, infrastructure, downtown revitalization, housing, transportation, recreation, and community design.
