Description
The Department of State Hospitals - Atascadero is seeking bids for Wildlife Control Services. The contractor will provide all necessary materials, supplies, tools, equipment, transportation, licenses, certifications, permits, insurance, personnel, and any other items required to provide onsite nuisance wildlife control services by trapping, carbon monoxide gassing, and removing nuisance wildlife. The services will be performed on an as-needed basis, and the contractor must follow local, county, city, state, and federal laws. The term of the agreement is anticipated to be from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2029.
• The contractor must have a valid Trapping License from the Department of Fish and Wildlife.
• The contractor must provide proof of liability insurance with limits of not less than $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate for bodily injury and property damage liability combined.
• The contractor must provide proof of workers' compensation insurance, if required by statute, regulation, or court order.
• The contractor must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards, including those related to environmental protection and public health.
