Description
The Town of Tabor City is seeking bids for the Tabor City Business Incubator - Phase 2 project, which includes improvements to the 1st floor of an existing commercial building at 110, 114, and 118 West 5th St in Tabor City, NC. The improvements include adding breakrooms, epoxying concrete floors, adding insulation, and other enhancements as described in the plans and specifications. The project is partially funded by the Southeast Crescent Regional Commission (SCRC) and is subject to the Build America, Buy America Act (BABA) requirements.
• The project includes various construction services such as adding breakrooms to Units 114 and 118, epoxying the concrete floor in each unit, and adding insulation above the 1st floor of Unit 114.
• Bidders must comply with the SCRC "Construction Project Provisions" and additional instructions included in the project bid documents/specifications.
• The Town of Tabor City is committed to increasing the use of Small and Minority/Women owned business and Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUB) contract participation for Construction Projects.
• Bid, Performance, and Payment Bonds will be required for this project.
