Description
The University of New Mexico is seeking to renew a 2-year service agreement for a JEM ARM-200F aberration corrected microscope. The microscope is a highly sophisticated instrument that requires specialized knowledge to maintain and diagnose. The proposed vendor, JEOL USA Inc., is the only source that can provide the necessary knowledge and expertise to maintain and service the instrument. The service agreement includes unlimited emergency visits, up to two preventative maintenance visits per year, and guaranteed on-site visits within 1 day of placing service requests. The agreement also includes the cost of all replacement parts.
