Single Source Exemption for Elevator and Dumbwaiter Maintenance

Baruch College of the City University of New York is requesting an exemption from the Contract Reporter publication requirement on a single-source basis to enable Baruch College to enter a twelve (12) month contract extension for State Contract. No. C192401 with Slade Industries, Inc (the “Contract”) to provide time to conduct a competitive procurement. This contract is to provide all labor, materials, supplies, tools, and equipment needed to provide a full preventive maintenance, repairs, and services program for its elevators and dumbwaiters. The contract expired on 02/28/2026, and an estimated one-year extension would be sufficient time for the University to complete a competitive procurement and award a new contract.
