Request for Information - Link 16 Ground Station

The United States Air Force Life Cycle Management Center is conducting market research to identify possible sources capable of providing a portable Link-16 ground station. The system requires data communication between Link-16 & SADL-equipped aircraft and ASOC operators & TACPs and run gateway control and mission software. The system, together with gateway software, provides a Link-16 & SADL Common Operating Picture to the TACP Weapon System, forwards tracks received from TACP to Link-16 & SADL networks, filters and forwards tracks from the Link-16 & SADL networks, and exchanges J-series messages with other systems. Key features of the system include: • Conducting voice and data communications over two radio channels simultaneously • Forwarding and translating tracks • Using a host software application that supports the full set of VMF K-Series • Performing Link 16 communications using a Small Tactical Terminal (STT) Link 16 terminal • Meeting an Operational Availability (Ao) of 0.96 [T] 0.98 [O] • Having system radio case dimensions of ≤ 24” (W) x 21” (H) x 10” (L) [T] • Including a server and router bays to host data and gateway applications
