SEPTA is seeking market insight for a future contract to remediate sinkholes along the Norristown High Speed Line (NHSL) where karst topography has caused track instability. The anticipated work will involve limited‑mobility grout injection, extensive surveying, and movement monitoring to protect rail infrastructure. Contractors are invited to attend a briefing meeting on May 15 2026 to discuss capabilities and provide input; participation does not guarantee award or compensation.
• Survey and layout of drill‑hole locations, followed by limited‑mobility grout injection to stabilise the ground.
• Continuous movement monitoring of track, ground, structures, utilities and on‑site safety compliance (per SEPTA Spec 02346 3.07).
• Protection of tracks during operations, clean‑up, restoration, and mandatory RWP (Railroad Protective Work) training for personnel.
