Description
The City of Roswell is seeking a contractor to provide downtown economic development and business retention services. The contractor will be responsible for promoting business retention and economic development in the downtown area, maintaining available properties inventory, developing and identifying needs and priorities for the downtown district, and facilitating the use of local, state, and federal development incentives. The contractor will also provide business promotion and support services, including social media posts, surveys, and educational opportunities. The contract term is one year, with the option to renew for one additional year.
• Promote business retention and economic development in the downtown area
• Maintain available properties inventory and feature online posts
• Develop and identify needs and priorities for the downtown district
• Facilitate the use of local, state, and federal development incentives
• Provide business promotion and support services, including social media posts, surveys, and educational opportunities
• Coordinate with other organizations to revitalize the downtown district
• Support the Roswell Visitors Center through distribution of materials and publicizing attractions and activities
