Aluminum License Plate Hauling and Recycling

The State Department of Motor Vehicles seeks a qualified contractor to collect and recycle aluminum license plates from all DMV customer service centers and select offices across the state. The contractor will be responsible for the secure hauling, transportation, and recycling of the metal scrap, with the Department receiving a percentage of the recycling returns. • Collect aluminum license plates from every DMV Customer Service Center and select office location statewide. • Provide secure, sealed transportation of plates to an approved recycling facility. • Deliver a percentage return to the DMV for the recycled aluminum, as outlined in the contract. • Must hold appropriate permits, insurance, and experience in metal waste handling and recycling. • Submit a sealed bid by the deadline; contract awarded to the lowest qualified bidder.
