Substance Use Day Treatment

The Dane County Department of Human Services is seeking proposals for a medically monitored and structured nonresidential treatment service for individuals with substance use disorder. The service should provide regularly scheduled sessions using modalities such as counseling, case management, group or individual therapy, medical services, and mental health services. The contract will be for one year with an option to renew for four additional one-year periods. The available funding for general SUD day treatment services is $29,700, and for specialized SUD day treatment for women is $156,455. Some key requirements include: * Providing at least 15 hours of treatment services per week * Ensuring that the maximum amount of time between clinical services does not exceed 72 hours in any 7-day period * Providing each client with at least one hour of individual counseling per week * Working collaboratively with other service providers in the community to connect clients to sustaining supports * Ensuring that continuing education units (CEUs) are available to licensed employees who provide direct client services * Collecting and reporting program data in a timely and accurate manner * Providing or arranging for childcare while women are receiving services (for specialized services for women) * Providing supplementary therapeutic services to women and/or their children (for specialized services for women) * Providing or arranging for primary medical care (including prenatal care) for women receiving treatment and primary pediatric care (including immunizations) for the women’s children (for specialized services for women)
