QuidelOrtho Reagents

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed-price purchase order to QuidelOrtho Corporation for reagents and diagnostics support for the VITROS 3600 system used by the Division of Viral Hepatitis Laboratory Branch at CDC. The procurement is valued below the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT) and will be processed under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures of FAR Part 13. QuidelOrtho Corporation is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and the only known source with access to the proprietary reagents and diagnostics support. • The contract is for supplies, including reagents and diagnostics support, for the VITROS 3600 system. • The procurement is valued below the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT). • The contract will be awarded as a sole source, firm-fixed-price purchase order. • The contract is expected to be completed by 3/10/2026. • The contractor must provide the required reagents and diagnostics support in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications.
