Solid Waste Disposal Services

Bastrop County is seeking a competent vendor to provide solid waste disposal services, including the collection, hauling, and proper disposal of trash, debris, and refuse from the Bastrop County Transfer Station. The vendor will be required to provide multiple 40-yard roll-off waste containers and remove and replace them on an as-needed basis. The county anticipates an average of 25-30 hauls per month, with an average tonnage of 6-10 tons per haul. The vendor will be responsible for disposal fees at all landfills. • The contract will be on an "as-needed" basis, with delivery requests and communications issued by the Bastrop County Transfer Station. • The vendor must provide a set price per container, rather than charging haul plus disposal per ton. • The vendor will be responsible for setting up an account with a landfill, if necessary, and paying disposal fees. • The county reserves the right to increase the number of 40-yard roll-off waste containers at any time, at the contracted bid price.
