15--Freefly Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS)

The Department of Interior (DOI) intends to negotiate a sole source blanket purchase agreement with Freefly Systems Inc. for the Freefly Alta X, Astro Max UAS, and other accessories. The Freefly Alta X and Astro Max UAS meet and/or exceed the Office of Aviation (OAS) standards and requirements for a UAS under 55lbs max takeoff weight and payload capacity. • The UAS complies with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.240-1, Prohibition on Unmanned Aircraft Systems Manufactured or Assembled by American Drone Security Drone Act. • The Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes, but firms that believe they can meet the requirements can furnish information about their products and services to the Contracting Officer. • Responses received will be evaluated, but the Government may still proceed with the sole source negotiation and award with Freefly Systems Inc.
