Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons is soliciting bids for a heavy-duty dual-temperature food transport cart. The cart must be capable of maintaining both heated and refrigerated food products during institutional meal service operations. The unit shall be designed for correctional or high-volume institutional food service environments. The cart must meet specific construction, dimension, capacity, heating and refrigeration, electrical, and component requirements. Some of the key features include:

• Insulated compartment separation between heated and refrigerated zones
• Digital temperature controller and thermometer display
• Heavy-duty power cord and cord management system
• Six heavy-duty multi-terrain casters
• Full perimeter non-marking bumper protection
• Minimum one-year manufacturer warranty covering parts and labor
The contractor shall provide a new, commercial-grade dual-temperature transport cart meeting the specified requirements.
