Description
The Marshall Public Schools is seeking bids for the Gordon Elementary HVAC Upgrades project. The project involves modernizing the HVAC systems in Units 100, 200, and 300 of Gordon Elementary School. The scope of work includes new RTUs, AHUs, split systems, and condensing units, along with mechanical and electrical demolition, ductwork modifications, refrigerant piping, and integration with existing infrastructure. The project also includes structural work to reinforce roof joists for added mechanical loads and electrical upgrades.
• The project requires new power and lighting layouts, panelboards, and fire alarm integration.
• The project must ensure accessibility, code compliance, and efficiency.
• Bidders must submit a sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationship with the Owner or any employee of the bidder and any member of the Board of Education of Marshall Public Schools or the Superintendent of the School District.
• Bidders must also submit a notarized disclosure statement indicating that they have not been doing business with companies having ties with the country of Iran in accordance with the Iran Sanctions Act.
