The Village of Oak Park is seeking a qualified contractor to relocate existing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire‑suppression systems that reside in an existing below‑grade sidewalk vault, demolish the vault, and back‑fill it with lightweight cellular concrete. The work includes shoring, waterproofing, steel flashing, and all associated MEP connections, with a $100 k contingency built into the base bid. The contract is a fixed‑price lump‑sum with a mandatory pre‑bid meeting, a sealed‑bid process, and strict bonding and insurance requirements.
