DoW Melanoma Research Program Survivorship Research Award

The DoW Melanoma Research Program Survivorship Research Award aims to support innovative and impactful research that improves the health and well-being of melanoma survivors, their families, and care partners. The program seeks to address the relatively new and underfunded area of melanoma-specific survivorship. Proposed studies should focus on improving the quality of life, overall health, and function of melanoma survivors. The application must include at least one melanoma consumer collaborator, and clinical trials are allowed. • The award has a maximum period of performance of 3 years. • The Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs expects to allot roughly $2.04M to fund approximately two Survivorship Research Award applications. • The program announcement includes a list of eligible applicants, including extramural and intramural U.S. Department of War organizations. • The program requires a pre-application submission, and the application must be submitted through the Electronic Biomedical Research Application Portal (eBRAP).
